qualified person from attending. SAU has established [Disability Support Services (DSS)] to provide
disability services according to the provisions of applicable disability law."

Mission:

Disability Support Services (DSS) facilitates equal access to Southern’s learning community for students with disabilities by
• Determining reasonable and appropriate academic accommodations,
• Promoting student responsibility and self-advocacy, and
• Providing relevant information to faculty and staff.

In support of this mission, DSS also provides services to students without disabilities to help them explore their unique learning abilities and needs.

Location:

DSS is located in the middle of the Promenade (uphill from Wright Hall) on the third floor of Lynn Wood Hall—Room 308. Handicapped parking is available in back of LWH and can be accessed via Industrial Drive . An elevator is located on the south end of LWH, next to the back door (from the parking lot).
